A comprehensive list of Fallout 76 Legendary 4-star effects have appeared online and were discovered from the latest beta version of the game. Some of the 18 effects listed in the leak sound so ridiculously overpowering that it’s likely they’ll be toned down before they make their way there Fallout 76.

Legendary 4-Star Effects were originally announced three and a half years ago as part of the Fallout 76 2021 Content Roadmap. The original plan was for them to make their debut in the Invaders from beyond the grave update. And although they were included in the experimental version of this patch, available through the game’s public test server (PTS) in 2021, the feature itself was never implemented into the main branch of the live service role-playing game.

Legendary 4-star effects datamined from the latest Fallout 76 PTS build

For its part, Bethesda hasn’t said anything officially yet, suggesting that it’s still working on bringing 4-star legendary effects to the game. But dataminers have recently discovered some pretty conclusive evidence that suggests this is indeed the case. More specifically, the latest Fallout 76 The PTS update released at the end of September 2024 contains references to 18 legendary 4-star effects. Ten of these are reserved for weapons, while the remaining eight are armor features.

Both groups contain some extremely OP stuff. For example, Bethesda is apparently testing an armor effect called “Limit Breaking” that reduces the cost of critical hits by 10%, up to 50% for a full suit of armor with this property. When combined with the Critical Savvy perk card, which reduces the AP cost of critical hits by 45% at Rank 3, the Limit Breaking effect appears to have the potential to increase critical hit spam accumulation Fallout 76 to a completely new, unprecedented level.

  • Miasmas: When hit, a toxic point cloud damages nearby targets for 10 seconds (point damage increases per piece equipped).

  • Tanky’s:- Standstill negates ballistic damage by -15% for 10 sec (20 sec cooldown) (Up to 75% at full stack)

As for the leaked weapon properties, one legendary 4-star effect immediately catches the eye: that of the Conductor, whose description states that critical hits fully restore both action and health points. This would essentially serve as God Mode, even if used with a build that is in no way optimized for spamming critical attacks, such as: B. someone who uses limit breaking armor. Therefore, it seems extremely unlikely that Conductor will come into play without a nerf or three. One way Bethesda could potentially offset the effect would be to only give it a small chance to process each critical hit, although even a low recovery rate could reportedly prove overpowering.
