The scores remained even throughout the game, with Coastal’s dream marksmen GS Camilla Assirati and Cox shooting brilliantly to regain the lead.

First Fit moved closer to Coastal and fought hard, although Assirati easily found space on the court, allowing her team to put Coastal in the lead

Coastal’s Cox continued to impress on the court, making First Fit’s defense work hard and forcing a few errors in the shooting circle. Both teams played well, but Coastal won, continuing their successful start to the season.

Both teams stayed within touching distance of each other throughout a well-balanced game and scored goals throughout, but at the end of the third quarter the Warriors maintained the lead by one goal.

The Wildcats struggled with excellent shooting, with WA Nancy Garman making great runs down the field to win the ball, but New Body’s shooters extended their lead

The Wildcats made some changes that allowed them to close the gap even though New Body’s defense was difficult to break through. The Wildcats shooting partnership of GS Niamh Seeley and GA Frankie Eversden helped close the gap despite New Body losing turnovers and passing the ball quickly up the pitch

Both teams managed some brilliant interceptions in a balanced final quarter, with everyone fighting for the ball and the game ending in a draw.

WJNC Waves 25
