“I owe my career to women filmmakers, be it Meera Nair, Kiran Rao or Sonam Nair, because they are acha kaam kar rahi sab in their own capacity. So if some films are allowed and others aren’t, that shouldn’t be the point of discussion at all. Personally, I feel that far from this controversy, both of them would be happy for each other.”

Jha says that while it has not yet been decided who will be at the big event, he will be cheering from wherever he is. “Things are not decided yet and I will shoot around that time. This film is closest to my heart as it came to me when we actors were sitting at home without work due to the pandemic.
