One dead, three injured after shooting in Danville

DANVILLE, Va. – A man was killed after a suspected shooting in Danville early Sunday morning.

Danville police arrived at a Culture Restaurant on Spring Street around 1:30 a.m. Sunday and found a man with multiple gunshot wounds on the sidewalk along with a large crowd of people. The man was identified as 21-year-old Ammorrion Harris and was taken to SOVAH Health Danville where he was unfortunately pronounced dead from his injuries.

DPD also said three additional people arrived at SOVAH Health Danville shortly after the additional call and all suffered non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the shooting.

Danville Police are currently searching for active leads in the shooting.
