Star Rail Leak reveals new details about Sunday

A new leak from Honkai: Star Rail could potentially reveal more details about upcoming character Sunday’s alleged in-game animations, which reportedly include thorns in his graphics. The newest world of the HoYoverse sci-fi RPG is filled with a variety of the game’s highly anticipated characters, many of which have seen great success following its release. Firefly and Acheron have cemented their place as some of the game’s most powerful DPS units, while others like Sparkle and Robin have found widespread popularity in support roles. However, one Penacony character is still waiting to take the spotlight.

Sunday was one of the most rumored members of Honkai: Star RailThe cast of Penacony first appear early in the main story of the world. Although Sunday plays an important role in Penacony’s story and even appears as an in-game boss in the world, HoYoverse has yet to officially confirm the release of the Oak Family leader. Now a new part of the Sunday playable version is being teased.

Honkai: Star Rail Leak Teases Sunday Animations

A recent leak shared by noted HoYoverse leaker Ubatcha hints at some possible design elements for Sunday’s playable release. The leak shares new graphical elements discovered in the game’s files that are related to “Thorns.” Previous leaks suggested that Sunday’s animations would have a lot to do with Thorns. Thorns are already a prominent feature in his first appearance on Sunday, with thorn patterns on both his jacket and his halo. HoYoverse has not yet officially confirmed a playable debut in the game for Sunday.
