Ford Mustang Mach E electric car travels 916.74 kilometers on one battery charge

(Guinness Records Book – new entry) Webfleet sets new GUINNESS WORLD RECORD (TM) with an electric car – verified by Webfleet data and camera recordings. Bridgestone tires designed for minimal rolling resistance helped optimize the range of the Ford Mustang Mach E – The previous record of 563.97 miles was set in Hangzhou, China


Webfleet, one of the world’s leading providers of fleet management solutions, has set a new GUINNESS WORLD RECORD. At 916.74 kilometers or 569.64 miles, Webfleet completed the longest ever journey by an electric car on a single charge.

This route was completed by two Webfleet-sponsored British drivers – Kevin Booker and Sam Clarke – in a Ford Mustang Mach-E SUV fitted with Bridgestone tyres. Booker and Clarke both already hold electric vehicle driving records. So far, Booker has set five GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS and Clarke two.

Traveling around England for 24 hours – in the city and in the country

Webfleet documented the journey in great detail using independently verified data from positions, video recordings, mileage and battery levels. It lasted 24 hours and took place on both urban and rural roads across the UK to simulate real driving conditions.

Equipped with Bridgestone tires with excellent mileage and low rolling resistance, with a 91 kWh battery and a WLTP range of 373 miles, the Mach-E Premium Extended Range SUV RWD outperformed passenger cars with 18-inch wheels designed for The Tour was chosen for its advanced battery technology and ride comfort, exceeding expectations and achieving an average of 6.25 miles per kilowatt hour (kWh) on public roads in Norfolk, Lincolnshire, Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Cambridgeshire.
