Android 15 is here! Rollout on the first smartphones begins – Vivo overtakes Google’s Pixel and Samsung

Android 15 is here! This applies at least to some Vivo smartphone owners who were offered an update to the latest version of the operating system over the weekend and in some cases a few days before. This is the official update, which, according to current knowledge, can be downloaded and installed without any problems. This makes Vivo the first smartphone manufacturer to roll out Android 15 – ahead of Google or industry leader Samsung.

Look forward to it, owners of a Vivo This won’t change much in the medium term, but it shows Vivo’s goodwill, which could perhaps be incorporated into even faster and more reliable updates in the future.

Google will have its reasons why Android 15 still cannot be rolled out to the Pixel smartphones and will probably not come before mid-October (here is the leaked rollout date).
