UP police respond to viral video of man doing pull-ups and holding highway sign

A viral video of a man doing pull-ups while holding on to a highway sign placed 10 meters above the road in Uttar Pradesh has triggered a response from Amethi police.

The 16-second clip, posted on X by an account called Amethi Live, has received thousands of views.

As seen in the video, the man was performing pull-ups while holding onto the iron structure behind the signboard that read, “NH 931, Munshiganj 06 (left arrow) and Amethi 3.5 (right arrow).”

Khatron Ke Khiladi On the streets of Amethi, a young man was seen doing pull-ups at the kilometer sign and risked his life to do pull-ups on a board 10 meters above the road. “The video was posted by an Instagram ID named Sachin,” Amethi Live said in the caption of her post, translated from Hindi to English.

The Amethi police soon responded to the viral video and said that legal action would be taken against the man after proper investigation.

“The matter is within the knowledge of Amethi police station. The viral video is being investigated and necessary legal action will be taken against the person performing the stunt as per rules,” said the Amethi Police post translated from Hindi into English.
