Trump proposes an innovative way to send a message to criminals

Former President Donald J. Trump proposed an innovative solution to America’s crime problem as left-wing officials handcuff and defund the police since the 2020 race riots.

Despite the manipulated statistics, crime is out of control and violent criminals are increasingly emboldened by Democrats’ anti-cop policies and the coddling of progressive prosecutors. The Republican candidate had a proposal for restoring law and order.

During a rally on Sunday in Erie, Pennsylvania, Trump commented on the sad situation in Democratic-controlled areas such as New York City, where a shoplifting epidemic has forced stores to lock items in protective sleeves, suggesting that ” on a really violent day” will send a message to criminals.

“You know, you can’t go to a drugstore in New York now,” the former president told the crowd. “It’s like being in a glass prison. “If you want to buy aspirin, you have to wait 45 minutes for a clerk to come and open it because of what happened,” Trump said as he told the story of how he had just lost a retail tenant because of crime in the Big Apple .

“What the hell is going on?” Trump asked. “Look, we have to let the police do their job, and if they have to be extraordinarily rough…” the crowd erupted in cheers. “And the police are not allowed to do their job. They are told that if you do something, you will lose your pension, you will lose your family, your house, your car.”

“The police want to do it, the border patrol wants to do it,” he said. “They can’t do it because the liberal left won’t let them. The liberal left wants to destroy them, and they want to destroy our country.”

“You know, if you had a day, a really hard, bad day with the drugstores as an example, where when they start going out, you know, she created something in San Francisco for $950, you’re allowed to steal,” he continued. “Anything that goes beyond this will be prosecuted. Well, it turns out that the term “950” is a misnomer because you can steal whatever you want. You can go way up, but you would see it. Originally you would see children walking in with calculators. They would do the math. They didn’t want to exceed the $950 they had available using calculators by adding them up.”

“You know, these are smart, smart people. They’re not that stupid, but they need to be taught. If you had a really violent day right now, a guy like Mike Kelly would put him in charge,” Trump said, referring to the Pennsylvania Republican who attended the event.

“Congressman Kelly put him in office for one day. Mike, would you say you’ve come to the right place? He’s a great congressman. Would you say, Mike, if you were in charge, would you say, “Oh, please don’t touch her. Don’t touch her. Let them rob your store. Let all these businesses go out of business,” right? Trump asked.

“You don’t pay rent. The city has the whole thing, it’s a chain of events, it’s so bad. A hard hour, and I mean really hard, word will get around and it will end immediately. Quit immediately. You know? It will end immediately,” he said.

Trump’s anti-criminal statements sparked dismay on the left

While those on the left whined in outrage at the idea of defunding the police, Team Trump said the former president was “obviously joking.”

“President Trump has always been the law-and-order president, and he continually reiterates the importance of enforcing existing laws,” Trump campaign communications director Steven Cheung said in a statement to left-leaning outlet Politico. “Otherwise, it is complete anarchy that Kamala Harris has created in some of these communities across America, particularly during her time as…” [California] Attorney General when she encouraged criminals.”

When it comes to the election, there is only one choice when it comes to restoring law and order, and it is not the candidate who helped raise bail money for during the George Floyd “Summer of Love” chaos to rouse violent rioters.
