Kamala Harris mocks Trump at debate rally: Ready to give up

Vice President Kamala Harris mocked the former president Donald Trump During a rally, she told the crowd that she was ready to debate even if Trump was “ready to give up!”

Trump and Vice President Harris met for the first time on September 10 for the ABC News debate, which was almost universally viewed as a resounding victory for Harris and a “disaster” for Trump. Trump has since sought a second debate with Harris before deciding not to have one.

With the debate between the VP candidates Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) and Gov. Tim Waltz (D-MN) approaches on Tuesday evening, Harris is running out of time to get another shot at Trump.

During a rally in Las Vegas on Sunday night, Vice President Harris offered up some gambling puns to mock Trump, telling the crowd they were “fully ready” for another debate as Trump fumbles his cards:

Vice President KAMALA HARRIS: And with your help, we will win in November.

CROWD: WE WILL WIN! WE WILL WIN! WE WILL WIN! Yes. We will win. Know it. And here’s why. And here’s why.

Vice President KAMALA HARRIS: And here’s why. Because we know here that this election is about two very different visions for our nation. And the contrast was, I think, quite clear in our debate. Have you all seen the debate?

And I know that in two days we will be cheering on Coach Walz as he debates JD Vance! Yes indeed.

But listen too, their debate shouldn’t be the last word. I’m trying to debate Donald Trump again. I think he should debate it again.

The American people have a right to have us discuss these issues. And as you say, here in Las Vegas I’m totally into it! I’m totally into it!

Even if my opponent is ready to fold! So here we go.

But you’ll remember that in our first debate, I talked about issues like lowering the cost of living, investing in small businesses, and protecting reproductive freedom.

And to ensure the security of our nation.

But from Donald Trump. Well, it was the same old, tired playbook. Same old tired playbook. Without a plan to address the needs of the American people. Well folks, it’s time to turn the page.
