The Nittany Lions will look to secure their fourth straight 5-0 start on Saturday at Beaver Stadium.

And they’ll be heavy favorites against the lowly UCLA Bruins (noon, FOX).

Another season filled with great expectations is upon us, taking on a new Big Ten opponent from across the country. This will be Penn State’s most expensive football home ticket in 2024 to date.

The Lions are expected to dominate Saturday, partly because of their increasing physicality on offense and defense, and partly because of UCLA’s crippling problems.

The Lions are coming off a weak but proven game against well-regarded Illinois in prime time to solidify their top-10 ranking. The Bruins? They limped to their third loss to Oregon by following a repetitive script: After repeated failures, they gradually eased off to put pressure on the defense and advance the football on offense.

As the toughest season begins, this should be a stress-free experience with pleasant weather for Penn State fans.
