September 30, 2024 – Sebastian Tegtmeyer

A total of 90 Hamburg schools and over 42,000 students are expected to benefit from the so-called “Starting Opportunities Program”. The ten-year program has now started in our city for the new school year.

It is intended to specifically support schools in which many children and young people from socially disadvantaged households are educated. School Senator Bekeris speaks of the largest program to date for greater educational equality.
