Official start and information about the story

Dragon Ball Daima finally has an official release date. Until the death of series creator Akira Toriyama, the story was written by him personally. All information about the new series can be found here.

Now official: Dragon Ball Daima starts in October

The new series about a younger Son Goku and his friends starts on October 11, 2024 in Germany on Crunchyroll. This confirms the assumption of a simulcast. The new episodes will also be released in Japan at the same time.

Is “Dragon Ball Daima” canon? All information about the story!

Various sources on the Internet are said to be dead Story of Dragon Ball Daima Actually “Canon” and therefore relevant to the universe surrounding Dragon Ball. The plot can be classified after Dragon Ball Z, but before Dragon Ball Super. Statements from series creator Akira Toriyama, who unfortunately died in March 2024, also underline this assumption.

As was the case in Dragon Ball GT, Son Goku and his friends are rejuvenated by a villain, which makes them all small. Goku and the other Z Warriors head to an unknown world to solve this mystery.

The story and setting were written by Akira Toriyama, while the anime was directed by Aya Komaki (Assistant Director of One Piece) and Yoshitaka Yashima (Animation Director of Digimon) arises. Dragon Ball Daima is produced by Toei Animation.

If no simulcast for “Daima” is announced, it will probably be a few months before we can enjoy a completely “Dragon Ball” series in Germany. As soon as there is more information about the official release, we will share it with you here.
