Two years ago, RAPTORE made a good impression on colleague Thorbrügge with “Blackfire”. Now it’s time for the band, originally from Buenos Aires and now based in Spain, to step up their game. “Renaissance” is the name of the group’s third song and they take themselves at their word because the record wants to revive the 80s. We get a good half hour of heavy metal from the past, which could have been released in this form in 1986. Names like “Inside The Electric Circus” (WASP), “Slip Of The Tongue” (WHITESNAKE) or “Triumph And Agony” (WARLOCK) – these are big shoes to fill.
