Anker: New power bank launches with wireless charging and MagSafe compatibility

Anker offers a new power bank. The Zolo Magnetic Wireless Power Bank 10K 30W is also listed under the model number A1684 and is already available in the USA and is also listed on Amazon in Germany. Specifically, the power bank will also be offered in this country – for a price of 40 euros. More precise information about a possible delivery date is not yet available, but Amazon will deliver the power bank and the purchase will be made directly by the manufacturer.

It is a power bank measuring 10.34 x 6.91 x 2.11 centimeters. The Zolo Magnetic Wireless Power Bank 10K 30W weighs 223 grams and is therefore easy to transport. The main selling point of the power bank compared to other solutions is the ability to charge wirelessly. This means that manufacturer information can be transmitted wirelessly up to 7.5 watts. It’s not just a charging pad; instead, magnets are installed, with which an appropriately equipped smartphone – such as iPhones with MagSafe – can be held to the power bank with a force of 13 Newtons.

A USB Type C port is available for wired charging, which can output up to 30 watts and can also be used to charge the power bank itself – this is possible with 20 watts. The combined maximum charging power is given as 15 watts. Anker puts the capacity at 37 Wh or 10,000 mAh. There is no display; instead, the charge level is symbolized by several LEDs.
