Android 15: Rollout on Pixel smartphones continues to be delayed – leak reveals planned release date

It’s the first day of October, Google released the last version of Google a few weeks ago Android 15 released, but the rollout is still a long time coming despite the long beta phase. So far, no user has used it because Google is still delaying the rollout to the Pixel smartphones and will now take a few more weeks. But this month it should finally happen.

For many years, the rule was that Pixel smartphones were one of the first devices to receive Android versions – be it a major rollout, a QPR version or simply the new security updates. Things are a little different with Android 15, because although Google released the final version this month, there was no rollout to the Pixel smartphones. This fact was already known in advance and has proven to be true.

It was previously reported that the rollout would not take place before October and that it was not necessarily planned for the beginning of the month. Now the exact date for which Google plans to roll out Android 15 to all Pixel smartphones from the sixth generation onwards has been leaked: On Tuesday, October 15th it should be ready. Normally such a rollout begins on Monday, but because it is a US holiday, it will not be until October 15th.

So there will be another half-month wait until Pixel users can finally use the new generation in the final version. Of course, the last beta is still available or the current Android 15 QPR1 beta, but there is still a big difference between using a stable release or a beta.
