Panasonic: These 4K OLED and LED TVs are coming in October

In October, Panasonic will launch three new OLED TVs in the Z80A series and three new LED smart TVs in the W80A series.

The new OLED Z80A TVs from Panasonic will be available from October in three models in 65, 55 and 48 inches including Dolby Vision, HDR10+, integrated Fire TV and Dolby Atmos sound. Also in October this year, Panasonic is launching four new LED smart TV models from the W80A series in sizes 43, 50, 55 and 65 inches, including voice remote control with Alexa and the Smart Home Dashboard home system.

The new Z80A OLED models feature a so-called Filmmaker Mode, which, according to Panasonic, was developed by the UHD Alliance together with Hollywood directors to ensure accurate image reproduction without disruptive post-processing for the benefit of film artists. The new OLED TVs are powered by the HCX processor, which is said to support various HDR functions, including Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+ Adaptive. There is also Surround Sound Pro from Panasonic together with Dolby Atmos Immersive Sound. In addition to the integrated speakers, there is also a built-in subwoofer.

Panasonic is also promoting the Z80 series with Fire TV integration. This is how your favorite streaming and live TV channels, apps and recommendations are displayed on the homepage. An included voice remote control with Alexa is also included.

The new Panasonic W80A series (4K Ultra HD LED) models will also be available from October with integrated Fire TV including access to streaming services, music and more in one user interface. According to Panasonic, the HCX processor, HDR10+, Filmmaker Mode and Dolby Vision should also enable bright colors, sharp contrasts and precise details in the W80A series. According to the manufacturer, there is also Dolby Atmos sound here.
