Man is beaten up while supposedly on a date

In Friedrichshafen, a man was attacked and beaten up by several young people. He had actually arranged to meet a woman.

A supposed date in Friedrichshafen on Monday turned out to be a robbery, the police report. According to their findings so far, a 21-year-old man wanted to meet a woman on the pedestrian path next to the Rotach near Asternstrasse around 5:00 p.m. But she wasn’t alone – she had brought three companions with her.

Witness rushes to help man during attack in Friedrichshafen

These, probably all young people, suddenly attacked the 21-year-old and demanded money. Only when a witness noticed the fight and rushed to the man’s aid did the suspects apparently escape without any stolen goods.

Robbery in Friedrichshafen – police investigate suspects

The criminal police started the investigation. The suspicion against a 14-year-old was confirmed. The police also have initial information about his alleged accomplices. Officials are still investigating exactly how the attack happened and what was behind it.
