Tatort – Blind Date, Germany 2021 – Tatort – Television

The gas station attendant is shot dead in a gas station in Mainz – the second and this time fatal attack within two weeks. The only witness to the crime is the blind law student Rosa Münch, who still lives with her parents and longs for a life beyond her father’s overprotective control.

Ellen Berlinger and Martin Rascher investigate the trail of the two perpetrators and follow the blind men’s clues: the smell of an expensive perfume, the voices of suspects, the details heard and felt by Rosa at the crime scene. The inspectors want to place the vulnerable Rosa under police protection, but the young woman refused. On the contrary, when a young woman whose voice sounds familiar tries to contact her, she keeps it to herself.

Ellen Berlinger and Martin Rascher suspect that Rosa knows more than she says – perhaps even knows the perpetrators, likes them, finds them attractive… is getting involved in something that she is keeping secret from them. Without their support, the investigators have to resort to additional resources and unusual methods to prevent further deaths.
