Microsoft Office 2024 launches without a subscription, with a fresh design and new features

Microsoft Office 2024 introduces some of the new features that Office 365 has received over the past three years, including since the launch of Office 2021. This includes the ability to import photos directly from a connected Android device instead of uploading them to the computer first having to transfer. Office 2024 supports the ODF 1.4 file format, improving compatibility with LibreOffice and OpenOffice.

Emoji reactions can now be added to comments. Dynamic charts in Excel can now accommodate variable-length records and automatically update when new entries are added. Excel gets 14 new text functions as well as the ability to integrate images directly from the web. Using Cameo, PowerPoint allows you to integrate a live feed from the webcam into a slide and add subtitles to videos. Word gets new drawing tools.
