At the same time, conversation will be possible in two languages at the same time.

Gemini Live: New format for the AI ChatBot is now starting in German and for all Android users

Good news for all fans of Gemini Live, the relatively new format of the AI chat bot. Starting today and over the next few weeks, German language support will be rolled out to all users. This means that communication in this format is also possible in German and 40 other languages in addition to the previous standard language, English. What’s more, after the update, Gemini Live can also be used bilingually and can therefore accept and answer queries in the primary and secondary languages.

To set both the primary language and a second language, you need to open Google Settings and go to the “Google Assistant” section and then the “Languages” category. The fact that the Google Assistant is mentioned here is likely to change in the future, but it does not play any role in the validity of this option.

Gemini Live is very conversational and is meant to be like chatting with another person with whom you can brainstorm ideas, discover new topics, or even practice for an important presentation. Gemini Live can keep up with you, allowing you to interrupt, change the direction of the conversation, or delve deeper into a specific topic. And with ten different voices to choose from, you can personalize your experience and find the perfect tone and style for your conversation.
