The Swiss bobsleigh pilot Michael Vogt started the season late. The 26-year-old from Schwyz underwent an operation around seven weeks ago because of a herniated disc.

“The plan at the moment is for a comeback in January, if things go perfectly it could even be possible a little earlier,” the 2023 World Cup bronze medalist in the two-man bobsleigh told Swiss television. The World Cup season started on December 7th in Altenberg.
