Strictly Come Dancing 2024: Fans celebrate the ‘correct result’ for the final two and the elimination has been leaked

Strictly Come Dancing fans were quick to react to the leaked results, which reveal the final two and the couple sent away

True enthusiasts have hailed the latest elimination as a “real result” after the final two and the eliminating pair were announced ahead of today’s broadcast.

The popular BBC dance competition is gaining momentum, with celebrities and their professional partners impressing us with new performances every week.

In the last film week, the participants impersonated the films “The Little Mermaid”, “George of the Jungle”, “Barbie” and “Lara Croft”.

There were impressive results on the night, with Miranda’s Sarah Hadland, singer Shayne Ward and comedian Chris McCausland all scoring 30 points or more, the Mirror reports.

But it was former Love Islander Tasha Ghouri who stole the show, scoring 34 points for her rumba to Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?”

True Strictly fans know that while the results will be broadcast on BBC One the next evening, the actual competition will be recorded on Saturday.

And in fact, online leaks that Echo doesn’t want to reveal have revealed the bottom two and the eliminated couple.

Despite the early spoiler, fans on X, formerly known as Twitter, were happy with the result. One user commented: “So happy with the result, so glad they’re gone.”

A second thanked: “I would like to thank the British public for getting it right for once.”

Another enthusiast shared: “Correct result and correct bottom two, one gone, now the other needs to be taken out.”

The third week results show of Strictly Come Dancing airs on Sunday October 6th at 7.15pm on BBC One.

And another agreed: “Absolutely the right result, even if they didn’t have a chance with the song choice, right?”

However, not everyone agreed, with one X user pointing out: “Two on the bottom right. In my opinion, the wrong person went home.”

This sentiment was echoed by someone else, who said: “Personally, I would have preferred the other contestant to be sent home, but they were definitely the right bottom two.”

As a reminder, last week Olympic swimmer Tom Dean and his dance partner Nadiya Bychkova said goodbye as the first couple to bow out in 2024. Who will leave the stage next?

Strictly Come Dancing continues tonight, Sunday October 6, at 7.15pm on BBC One.
