The bodies of two people were found under mysterious circumstances as police launched an urgent investigation.

Police are on scene outside a property in the Trowbridge area of ​​Cardiff, Wales.

They were initially called to a semi-detached house in Morfa Crescent on Saturday afternoon, which has now been sealed off.

The bodies of a woman and a man were found inside.

A police cordon remains in place.

A total of four police cars were spotted on the residential street.

South Wales Police said in a statement: “An investigation has been launched following the sudden deaths of two people at a property in Trowbridge, Cardiff.

“Emergency services were called to the house in Morfa Crescent at around 2.50pm yesterday (Saturday October 5).

“The local community is thanked for their patience and understanding while barriers were put in place.”

Police added that an investigation is underway to determine the cause and circumstances surrounding her death.

Other than the police’s brief statement, little is known about the incident.

It is not clear whether the two people found dead knew each other.
