1 day agoSan Francisco 49ers kicker Jake Moody has a home game in Week 5 against the Arizona Cardinals. Last week against New England, he hit all three field goal attempts – from 22, 26 and 41 yards – and made all three extra point attempts. Moody is tied with Dallas’ Brandon Aubrey for the second-most kicker fantasy points per game in the Yahoo standard rankings. Last year, San Francisco’s red zone offense was extremely efficient, meaning Moody made just 25 field goals in his rookie year while leading the league in extra points. However, in 2024, Moody has already completed nearly half of that field goal attempt with 12 to four games. The Cardinals’ defense allows opposing offenses 26.5 points per game – fourth-worst in the NFL – so Moody’s floor is safe, even if it’s one of his patented extra-point plays.
