Because two members of the Free Voters left the faction due to disputes but did not return their mandate to the party, the Free Voters lost their faction status and with it money and political opportunities.

Following its dissolution, the group’s six MPs are now non-attached MPs. As a group, they received more than one million euros per year for parliamentary work.
