Apple MacBook Pro with M4: An unexpected leak

There have been signs for weeks that Apple will soon be showing new Macs with M4 and, according to Mark Gurman, they (at least some of the new products) will be in stores from November 1st. A small Apple event in October would also be entirely possible.

Such leaks and rumors are normal, but what has never happened before is an unboxing and a first impression of a new Apple product (and several weeks) before the market launch. But that is exactly what happened in Russia.

The video in this article is intended to show the new MacBook Pro with M4 from Apple. But is it real? Mark Gurman thinks it looks real according to his prediction. But there is also a very good reason to doubt the video.

Will Apple actually use the same wallpaper as the current generation MacBook Pro? That wouldn’t be ruled out, but with the move to the M4 and the focus on Apple Intelligence, I expect a new wallpaper.

If the design doesn’t change, but the technology under the hood does, then Apple usually shows this with a wallpaper. Wait and see, I remain skeptical. But if it’s real, it would be one of the biggest leaks in Apple’s history.
