BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball team has released the 2024-25 regular season schedule.

The Titans, who went 27-5 last season, will take the field at a Tallahassee Community College Jamboree on Sunday for the first time under new head coach Thomas Gray.

“I am excited to work with such a great group of young men,” Gray said.

“When we got the job a little later in the offseason, it was a challenge to quickly look for the right young men that we wanted in East Florida. Our staff has done an outstanding job in quickly identifying and recruiting the student-athletes we have on our team.”

Eastern Florida State College will open the regular season on Friday, November 1st at home against Florida Coastal Prep and it will be the first of 10 home games for the Titans.

After the home opener, they travel to Idaho for the CSI Battle for the Boot tournament before returning for two home games in November.

The Citrus Conference opener is January 4th when they travel to Florida Southwestern State College. The conference’s first home game is January 8 against St. Petersburg College.

The Titans return four players from last season’s team, as starting forward Emondrek Erkins-Ford leads the group after averaging seven points and four rebounds last season.

“I couldn’t be more excited about what’s in store for this group this season,” Gray said. You came to work every day with great attitude and commitment. The most impressive thing is probably how quickly the group bonded as a group. We have a lot of work to do, but we’re excited to get everything rolling.”

The state tournament is March 12-15 at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville.
