The shooting of Suriya 44 is complete!

On Sunday, October 6, the makers of the upcoming Suriya Karthik Subbaraj film took to their social media to announce that the shooting of the much-awaited project has taken place packed.

An official confirmation

Suriya confirmed the news with a social media post in which he shared pictures of himself with the director and the rest of the cast and crew. The caption for the post reads: “An all-round successful, happy shoot at several locations. Lots of memories with the super talented cast and crew. I have found a brother for life. Thank you and our team for making Suriya44 an unforgettable experience.” Tentatively titled Suriya 44the film was released in cinemas in June.

Suriya 44 with actors Pooja Hegde, Jayaram, Joju George and Karunakaran in key roles. With Santhosh Narayanan as the music composer, the film’s technical team includes cinematographer Shreyaas Krishna, editor Shafique Mohamed, art director Jackson, action choreographer Kecha Khamphakdee and costume designer Praveen Raja. The makers of the film had recently released some promotional materials for the upcoming film on the occasion of his birthday on July 23, including a sneak peek of the actor’s look from the film.

Suriya 44 marks the first collaboration between Suriya and Karthik Subbaraj and is co-produced by Karthik’s banner Stone Bench Films along with Suriya’s 2D Entertainment.
