Leicester 1-0 Bournemouth: Fan views

Leicester 1-0 Bournemouth: Fan views

We asked for your opinion after the Premier League game between Leicester and Bournemouth on Saturday.

Here are some of your comments:

Leicester fans

Nigel: Great win. Faes was excellent. A positive result that the team can now hopefully build on and climb up the table. Congratulations to the entire team and Stevie Cooper.

Vin: Excellent first half and deserved lead for Leicester. Amazing performance in the second half and we were lucky that Bournemouth didn’t get back into the game. Too little finishing and too few attacks from the back encouraged Bournemouth to press. Must have a full 99 minute display, Mr. Cooper.

Pravin: A win is a win for the Foxes. We were lucky in the second half, but three points and a goal are a plus. Hopefully it will be a building game. Cooper has to imagine a starting eleven for every game.

Trev: OK, a win – but not nearly good enough. As someone said last week, Cooper was a bad decision. The sooner he is replaced, the better our chances of staying in the league are. Leave it much longer and it will be too late.

Bournemouth fans

Steve: Again weak at the top – don’t take any risks at the top. It’s frustrating because they play with a certain style.

Jon: Evanilson is not Solanke. Players need to realize that and start playing at his feet instead of smashing him up there and losing the ball because he doesn’t have the physicality of Dom. When they notice that we will create more chances and maybe even score.

Chris: We appreciate that the strikers we have could be great once they settle in, but we could have used a recognized striker to replace Solanke. But we trust Iranoi. There’s still a long way to go.

Richard: Toothless with no scorer. I think it’s going to be a long season.
