Call to investigate illegal activities by Budda Real Estate

RCP (Communist Party Rayalaseema) State Secretary Ravi Shankar Reddy has called for a thorough investigation into the alleged illegal activities of Budda Infra Private Limited. He alleged that the company was involved in various illegal encroachments, including on cemeteries and lakes, wherever it carried out construction projects. On Monday, Ravi Shankar Reddy filed a petition with the Kadapa RDO demanding legal action against the company.

During the meeting, Ravi Shankar Reddy alleged that Budda Real Estate kept encroaching on graveyards before even developing land. He pointed out that in areas like Utkur under Chintakommadinne mandal, government land under survey numbers 692/1A, 1B, 2, 718/2, 719/1, 3, 720/1, 2 was illegally occupied by Budda Infra Private Limited . He also questioned how land under the control of Bukeria Education Society was transferred to the company and sought clarification.

Further allegations were made against the local tehsildar office, alleging that officials were supporting Budda Infra’s activities. Ravi Shankar Reddy alleged that the company used the names of former military personnel to register vacant land and later manipulated records to falsely claim ownership. He also highlighted that the company began large-scale construction work for Bhavana township in September 2022 without obtaining necessary approvals from city authorities.

Additionally, the company has been accused of incorporating R&B streets into its floor plans, enlarging the areas on either side, and gobbling up public property under the guise of beautification. Ravi Shankar Reddy called for a comprehensive probe into the mafia-like operations of Budda Infra and urged protection of government assets including lakes, graveyards and roads.

Others present at the event included RTO state secretary Siddiramaiah, RCP city secretary Makbool Basha and Madagalam Prasad.
