Charlotte posted in the “Searching for Victoria Taylor” group today that she “won’t give up on finding her beautiful friend.”

Another poster added: “I really can’t stop thinking about your beautiful friend. I know I don’t know her personally like thousands of others, but she truly touched our hearts. I pray that she is safe and found really soon for all of you.” Sending you love.

And in the wake of the Nicola Bulley case, amateur TikTok detectives have come into the area with their own wild conspiracy theories about what might have happened.

On Friday, her family spoke about how “distraught” they were over her disappearance.

Sisters Emma and Heidi said: “Following Vixx’s disappearance we are currently feeling sick, distraught and lost but we are trying to focus on the children in the family to maintain a sense of routine at this difficult time.

“We would like to thank all the emergency services and volunteers who have helped in the search for Vixx so far.” The wider local community has also come together and we are eternally grateful for the support they have given us, Vixx’s family.

“Police have told us that searches will continue over the weekend, for which we are grateful.
