On the morning of September 4, 1981, mother of two Linda Slaten was found murdered in the bedroom of her Lakeland, Florida, apartment. She was sexually abused while her children slept and strangled with a clothes hanger still wrapped around her neck. The murderer remains undiscovered for decades, but Linda’s sons don’t give up hope. 38 years later, forensic genetic genealogy cracks the case. The murderer was close to the family the entire time.
