Sales ban for Fire TV is imminent: Amazon is reducing the price of the Stick and Cube

BARGAIN

Amazon has currently massively reduced the price of some Fire TV Sticks and the Cube. The reason for this is probably the upcoming Prime Deal Days and an impending sales ban.

  • Due to a legal dispute with Nokia, some Fire TV models are threatened with a sales ban in Germany.
  • Amazon will empty its warehouses beforehand and is now offering numerous models cheaper.
  • The Fire TV Stick is now available from just 20 euros, the Fire TV Cube can be bought for 110 euros.

The Fire TV Stick is one of the top sellers on Amazon. But the TV stick is currently facing an abrupt end. The mail order company recently lost to Nokia in a patent dispute in court, and now some Fire TV models are threatened with a sales ban, at least temporarily. That’s why Amazon isn’t waiting until the upcoming Prime Deal Days on October 8th and 9th, but is already reducing the price of various Fire TV Stick models.

The offer for the basic model Amazon Fire TV Stick is particularly attractive. This is currently available at a new low price and is even cheaper than on Amazon Prime Day in July and Black Friday in November 2023.

  • HD streaming

  • Alexa voice control

  • TV control buttons

The Amazon Fire TV Stick comes with convenient TV control buttons and voice assistant Alexa. You can currently buy the streaming stick at a significant discount. Amazon and other retailers usually charge around 44.99 euros for the stick, but now you can get it for 19.99 euros. For Prime Day in July, Amazon charged 29.99 euros; for Black Friday in November last year, the stick cost 21.99 euros.

Amazon has also reduced the price of two other models: the Fire TV Stick 4K and the Fire TV Cube. However, both were available cheaper for Prime Day in the summer. You can also speculate that Amazon will reduce the price of the two models again for Black Friday in November.

However, since the Fire TV Stick 4K is one of the models threatened by a sales ban, this is of course associated with the risk that you will no longer be able to buy the stick. The Stick 4K is already sold out on Amazon. You can still get it at the offer price from MediaMarkt.
