You wake up on Tuesday and read everything you can about the players you should pick up off waivers as you prepare for Week 6 of fantasy football in 2024.

But it’s likely that there isn’t as much written about who to trade away to get these players. That’s what this weekly column is about: Keep it or throw it away! – will hopefully answer for you: A help in the debate about who to keep or drop to improve your team.

If there are more bye weeks, you will have to think particularly hard about the waiver. We’ll help you with that.

Remember when there was so much fuss about him a long time ago? Now he’s been suspended by the team and is unhappy, and the Packers’ receiver corps is balanced without a full-fledged WR1.

I say he lets himself go.

VERDICT: Drop him

RB Jerome Ford, Cleveland Browns

Syndication: The Indianapolis Star

He was poor last week in a fractured offense and Nick Chubb’s return appears to be just around the corner.

For this reason, you need to bench him but not drop him. What if Jameis Winston came in to give the offense some spark? What if Chubb isn’t 100 percent or gets injured again?

VERDICT: Keep it

It feels like Alexander Mattison has taken over here. Also, the offense is very focused on scoring points, which is not good for him.

VERDICT: Drop him

Sigh. You will have to wait for Tua Tagovailoa to return, which means he will be on your bench but not substituted.

VERDICT: Keep it

I’m not sure yet, but I have no problem dropping him while Rome Odunze continues to rise.
