Diablo 4 licensing issues on Vessel of Hatred

Diablo 4 licensing issues on Vessel of Hatred

We'll tell you what you can do if you're banned from Vessel of Hatred.

We’ll tell you what you can do if you’re banned from Vessel of Hatred.

The big Diablo 4 expansion Vessel of Hatred went live tonight along with the new season. But the start is anything but smooth. After server problems, players are now complaining about licensing problems that are causing them to be excluded from the DLC.

A hotfix is already on the way, but a little trick should help now. We’ll tell you how it works and keep you updated.

That’s what Blizzard says and that’s the workaround

Blizzard provides information on the topic in the forum:

We’ve all seen reports of players randomly losing access to Vessel of Hatred during their gaming session on consoles. We have identified the issue and have a fix on the way for testing. The plan is for this to be addressed in our next hotfix.

It is not yet known when this hotfix will come, but at least we know that it is already being worked on and that the issue is the team’s highest priority.

You can do that until then

But don’t worry, if you’re currently having problems and don’t want to wait any longer, a workaround seems to work.

This is what the Blizzard recommends: You should log out, log back in, or switch to a character that is not a Spiritborn class – and then switch back again. This should currently solve the problems, but of course it is a little time-consuming and annoying, especially when you are in the middle of playing.

It is also to be hoped that Blizzard tackles the issue really quickly and the problem no longer occurs. However, in our test by colleague Stephan, the extension left a good impression. Although the tuning in the endgame still needs to be fine-tuned a bit, the campaign, new class and the Nahantu jungle area were particularly convincing.

Feel free to share your experiences with us! What platform are you playing on, have you ever had this problem and does the hotfix work for you?
