KB5044284 Windows 11 24H2 [Manueller Download] 26100.2033 as an October security update

Windows 11 24H2 was officially presented last week and distribution is now starting in waves (as always). Today it’s the turn of the new October security update as KB 5044284. This increases the version number to Windows 11 24H2 26100.2033.

This update also includes the changes from the optional September update (KB5043178), if you haven’t installed it yet. Some of these new functions will be rolled out gradually (A/B testing).

Requirement For this update the KB5043080 is from 09/10/24. Because this update was not only the security update, but also the checkpoint update. We have already reported on how it works here and here.

Known issues due to KB5044284

• We are aware of an issue where players on Arm devices are unable to download and play Roblox via the Microsoft Store on Windows. Players on Arm devices can play Roblox by downloading the title directly from www.Roblox.com.

• [Remotedesktop-Gatewaydienst] Correction: The service no longer responds. This occurs when a service uses Remote Procedure Calls (RPC) over HTTP. Because of this, the clients using the service disconnect.
