Genshin Impact releases Chasca’s complete kit

New Genshin Impact Leaks have revealed extensive information about one of the upcoming characters, Anemo user Chasca. Developer HoYoverse has already confirmed that Chasca will appear on the Limited Character banner in the next game Genshin Impact Update, version 5.2.

Chasca isn’t the only character announced, as she’ll be joined by Ororon, who’s rumored to have a lower four-star rarity. However, the announcement did not confirm whether the two will appear in the same banner cycle. This means that version 5.2 will also include replays for three older characters, one of which is expected to be an Archon.

Chasca has appeared several times in the game in Natlan’s main storyline. She was first introduced in the “A Name Forged in Flames” teaser, which also revealed many other Natlan characters, most of whom are expected to join the playable roster in the foreseeable future. A new post on the topic Genshin Impact The Leaks subreddit has revealed more details about Chasca’s equipment. According to the leak, Chasca’s elemental ability deals AoE Anemo damage and allows her to enter the Night Soul state. Similar to the Ousia and Pneuma mechanics in Fontaine, the Nightsoul mechanic appears to be exclusive Genshin ImpactNatlan characters. While in the Night Soul Blessing condition, Chasca consumes Night Soul Points that last until they are depleted or she uses her skill again.

Genshin Impact 5.2: Chasca Kit Explained

The Night Soul’s Blessing status allows Chasca to ride the Spectral Spear: Ritual Staff, allowing her to float above the ground and gain increased movement speed and interrupt resistance, similar to Genshin ImpactThe Wanderer. Chasca performs “multi-target” attacks when using normal or charged attacks. When she taps her normal attack, she deals Night Soul-targeted Anemo damage to enemies. By using the Charge Attack, Chasca charges her weapon and targets multiple enemies. Once loaded, it can fire up to six bolts at targets.

Chasca’s Elemental Burst lets her fire additional bolts that deal Nightsoul-targeted AoE Anemo damage. As these bolts reach their targets, they break down into smaller particles and deal damage to nearby enemies. Soulseeker Bolt’s damage is converted into different types of elemental damage depending on Chasca’s party members. Given that both her abilities and her damage burst are very offensive, this suggests that Chasca will be a new DPS character Genshin Impact.

It should be noted that Chasca’s official release is still at least six weeks away, meaning HoYoverse has plenty of time to make adjustments to their gear. Based on the usual update schedule, travelers can expect this Genshin Impact Version 5.2 will be released around November 20th.
