Delta is supplying 200 kW ultra-fast DC EV chargers for the IZIVIA FAST charging network of McDonald’s stores in France

PARIS, October 9, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Delta, a global leader in energy management and provider of IoT-based smart sustainable solutions, announces that its UFC 200 Series 200kW Ultra-Fast DC Charger has been selected to support IZIVIA FAST*. The company, with the participation of IZIVIA, is currently installing ultra-fast chargers in more than 700 McDonald’s parking spaces across France. Around 800 units of the Delta UFC 200 will be used to offer McDonald’s customers an optimal charging experience. Delta’s UFC 200 chargers are capable of charging up to 80 percent of the capacity of a traditional EV battery in approximately 20 minutes.

Delta’s UFC 200 meets the needs of EV owners with fast and effortless charging options and offers a powerful capacity of 200 kW. This capacity can be divided into two 100 kW units, allowing two electric vehicles to be charged at the same time. The system includes an innovative 400 amp high performance CCS cable/connector system without liquid cooling, ensuring efficient temperature control and low maintenance costs. This powerful plug system is capable of providing additional energy to an electric vehicle’s battery when the charge level is low, without the need for an oversized system.
