Which mobile phone providers are there in Germany and which networks do they use?

In Germany, four mobile phone providers have their own networks: Telekom’s is considered one of the best. Vodafone and O2, the Telefónica brand, now also offer a similarly high level of coverage and quality. In addition, 1&1 is building its own network. In order to be able to offer mobile services outside of its own 5G coverage, 1&1 is also using national roaming and is currently switching from O2 to Vodafone.
