Police identify shooting victim found near Dante’s in downtown Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — Portland police have released the identity of the man who was shot near Dante’s early Sunday morning.

According to the Medical Examiner, 22-year-old Lee A. Mauras died of a gunshot wound and the manner of death was homicide.

On Sunday, October 6, at 2:41 a.m., Entertainment District officers heard detailed gunshots near West Burnside and Southwest 3rd Avenue.

When officers and medical personnel arrived, they found a deceased man in a parking lot near Dante.

According to the police, no arrests were made.
