Chatham Co. Police are investigating the shooting on Ogeechee Road.

CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) – Chatham County Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Thursday morning.

At approximately 10:50 a.m., police officers were called to Waterleaf at the Salt Creek apartment complex in the 5600 block of Ogeechee Road for a report of a shooting.

Shortly thereafter, police were dispatched to the Chevron location in the 4800 block of Ogeechee Road after a shooting victim entered the store and collapsed.

The victim, an adult male, was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police say the preliminary investigation indicates the shooting occurred between two adults who knew each other. They believe the victim was driven from the scene to the Chevron.

No suspect has been arrested at this time.
