Hunter x Hunter Chapter 402 is getting closer and closer. After the series’ nearly two-year hiatus, fans are eagerly awaiting the next twists and turns in Kurapika’s fight to survive in the deadly succession war among the Kakin princes.

With Kurapika’s mastery of Nen under intense pressure and new alliances shifting the balance of power, the series has returned with the intricate strategies and morally complex conflicts that have always characterized Hunter x Hunter.

Yoshihiro Togashi’s long-awaited return has fans excited, as looming questions about the true nature of the dark Nen curses and Beyond Netero’s hidden intentions promise another explosive chapter in this unpredictable saga.

Will Kurapika gain the upper hand or will he be lured deeper into the trap?

On the tenth day of the trip, Kurapika and Bill meet Longhi in Room 1014 at 11:45 a.m. to awaken their Nen.

However, Longhi reveals that she already knows Nen and introduces her ability Transparent Words – Moonlight Act, a conditional manipulation technique. She explains that her ability can form a contract with someone and limit their actions.

Kurapika becomes suspicious of her intentions and draws his gun and the dowsing necklace. Nevertheless, Longhi calmly continues, explaining that her contract is bound to Prince Tubeppa, even though Tubeppa is unaware of her abilities.

Longhi then reveals her deeper purpose: she is the biological daughter of Beyond Netero, recruited along with others under similar circumstances at the Royal Military Academy. These individuals, all children of Beyond, were trained to serve the Kakin Princes.

Longhi explains that she discovered the truth about her heritage after realizing that she lacked her adoptive father’s genetic characteristics. Her loyalty to Kakin remained despite her revelations until the succession dispute began.

Longhi reveals that Beyond cursed her and her siblings, making them “curse victims.” Each of them carries a powerful Nen curse that is unleashed upon their death to kill their assigned targets.

Longhi shows the cursed seal on her tongue and explains that this curse is the strongest form of Nen and cannot be removed by ordinary means. She suspects that these curses are intended to influence the ongoing war of succession between the Kakin princes.

Kurapika asks if the curses are intended for the princes, and Longhi suspects that they are, given the number of victims and the number of princes.

However, she believes that Beyond’s ultimate goal may not be to influence the succession, but rather to ensure that one of his children takes the throne. She suggests that one of the princes could be Beyond’s child, shocking Kurapika and the others. They begin to question the legitimacy of the succession dispute.

As the conversation progresses, Bill worries that outsiders will become suspicious because the meeting is taking so long. Kurapika insists on hearing the whole story before making any decisions.

Longhi continues, outlining a peace agreement between Prince Tubeppa and Prince Woble, mediated by their abilities. The agreement would prevent either side from attacking or interfering with the other side’s princes, queens, or guards.

Longhi also reveals a personal motive: if she confirms that one of the princes is Beyond’s child, she plans to kill him herself. This revelation shocks Kurapika, but his divining rod detects no lies from her. Longhi’s intention to kill Beyond’s child shows her desire to take control of her destiny and break away from Beyond’s manipulations.

The meeting ends with Kurapika and the others retreating to reflect on the revelations. Furykov, who had been observing Kurapika’s aura, notices subtle changes and speculates about what happened during the meeting.

Kurapika maintains a calm demeanor and explains to outsiders that negotiations with Tubeppa are still ongoing, leaving room for further developments in the tense succession war.
