The man, who comes from Poland, was checked by a police patrol at the long-distance train station at Frankfurt Airport last Wednesday, as a spokeswoman for the Federal Police announced on Friday.

Even during this check, the 39-year-old behaved “uncooperatively” towards the officers.

Since the police had a tip that the man had already become violent in previous cases and was carrying weapons, his fanny pack was searched by the federal police.

The officials found what they were looking for!

In the bag they discovered a kitchen knife with a twelve centimeter long blade, which the 39-year-old had with him “readily to hand”.

The investigators also came across an “Albanian driver’s license and an Albanian identity card,” as the spokeswoman continued. It was obvious to the police officers that these documents “did not correspond to the Pole’s personal details.”

The knife, driver’s license and identity card were confiscated. The investigation into the case is ongoing.
