Prime Gaming: Amazon is giving away 28 PC games in October 2024

Amazon Prime Gaming offers a considerable selection of free games in October. A total of 28 titles are available for download for Prime members this month. Included: BioShock Remastered, Doom Eternal and many more – here is an overview.

Creepy highlights for Halloween

At the beginning of the month, shooter fans were already able to secure two well-known representatives of the genre: BioShock Remastered and Doom Eternal. BioShock Remastered takes players to the dystopian underwater city of Rapture, where they experience a complex story and innovative gameplay mechanics. Doom Eternal, on the other hand, relies on action-packed fights against hordes of demons.

In keeping with the Halloween season, there are also several horror games on offer. Included are, among others, the survival horror title Scorn, the atmospheric A Plague Tale: Innocence and the co-op shooter Killing Floor 2. For players who like things less scary, there are titles like the platformer Pumpkin Jack or deck building -Strategy game Monster Train available.

Access to the games

To receive the “free games” an active Amazon Prime subscription is required. This currently costs 8.99 euros per month or 89.90 euros per year and also includes free Prime shipping on Amazon, access to Prime Video, music and more. The games can then be redeemed via the Prime Gaming website.

Depending on the title, users receive a code for different platforms such as GOG, the Epic Games Store or the Amazon Games App.

A notice: Once redeemed, games remain in the user’s possession permanently – even after the Prime subscription is canceled.

Our opinion: With this game package, Amazon Prime Gaming offers a wide selection for subscribers in October. The mix of well-known titles and indie games should appeal to most users. The focus on Halloween also fits in with the wet and cold season.
