Janhvi Kapoor is currently enjoying the success of her recently released film Devara: Part 1 with Jr NTR. The film also marks her Tamil debut. Well, today she took to her Instagram account and shared behind-the-scenes photos. The actress also revealed a life-threatening moment while shooting for the song Chuttamale in Thailand.

Janhvi Kapoor took to her Instagram handle and shared photos and videos. “Too late for some #Chuttamale BTS? I don’t think so,” the caption reads. In a video, the actress was heard saying: “This could be the most life-threatening moment. I’m going into jellyfish-infested waters. Nothing but a thin silk sari to protect me. I hope I survive, I hope it’s worth it. I hope it’s a memorable shot.” In another slide, she showed the “Caution” sign because the water is infested with jellyfish, whose stinging cells in their tentacles can injure people. In one clip, the actress was seen talking about climbing “really sharp rock” and then entering dangerous waters.

Despite mixed reviews, Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor starrer ‘Devara: Part 1’ is steadily inching towards Rs 500 crore mark in worldwide box office collections. Buoyed by the success of the film, director Koratala Siva and his team have already started talks about the sequel, Devara: Part 2. In a recent interview, Siva acknowledged the weight of this achievement and expressed his commitment to ensuring the success of the sequel.

In a Zoom interaction, the director was asked about the possibility of cameo appearances in the sequel. He replied that although he was not particularly interested in cameo appearances, he still planned to cast some well-known names from the film industry for significant roles. “I’m not saying cameos either. They are very important characters in the film and we will reveal them character by character very soon,” Siva added.

When asked about Janhvi’s limited screen time in the action drama, Siva mentioned that her character would develop in the sequel. “She can bring a lot of freshness to the film and give her character several dimensions that will come to fruition in the second part. There is a lot of drama for her and surprising twists that can happen to her character. So you have to wait and watch part 2 to see more of Janhvi,” the director added.

Devara: Part 1 starring Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Prakash Raj was released on September 27. To date, the film has grossed over Rs 250 crore at the domestic box office in all languages ​​combined.
