Switchbot: Display with Matter support, discounted at launch, measures various values ​​and shows room climate and weather forecast

The manufacturer SwitchBot offers products for the smart home, which also includes various sensors. The SwitchBot Meter Pro is now available, a new, multifunctional sensor with a display that can be used to measure several values ​​at once. The Meter Pro comes with a 3.6-inch screen, which is a segment display that does not support color display.

Various values ​​can be displayed: temperature and humidity can be recorded, and date and time can also be displayed. The weather forecast is also displayed. However, a connection to a SwitchBot Hub is required to display the weather forecast, the same applies to control using voice commands and Matter integration. Notifications also require connection to a SwitchBot Hub. Specifically, a SwitchBot Hub can be used to notify users when, for example, the temperature falls below a set limit.

The data can also be used for home automation; the collected data can also be displayed via an app and exporting files should also be possible. The display itself shows whether the current room climate is pleasant, and this comfort range can also be adjusted by the user. Data from up to two outdoor devices can also be displayed on the SwitchBot Meter Pro.
