Attention, risk of fire! Manufacturer recalls Apple chargers

Belkin is recalling fast chargers with the item name Belkin BoostCharge Pro. Specifically, it is about a charger for the Apple Watch with a 10K power bank, model name BPD005, as the manufacturer announced.

The recall is voluntary. Of course, customers receive a full refund of the purchase price. Belkin said there are manufacturing defects in some devices that could cause the wireless charger battery to overheat in some cases. In the worst case scenario, this could cause fires.

Consumers should never throw devices in the trash

Although there have been no reported injuries so far, and other Belkin devices have no defects, consumers should still take note of the recall. Belkin urgently calls for the device to no longer be used.

It should also be disconnected from all power sources, unplugged from other electronic devices, and stored in a dry environment away from flammable items.
