Possible prices and a release date

Good secrets are rare these days, at least when I look around in my “tech” bubble. This is not always the fault of the manufacturers themselves, but also of retailers who list products too early. We’ve already seen it x times, we’ll see it x times again.

At Sonos, the Arc Ultra and the Sub 4 are no longer a big secret. There have been a few leaks that reveal technical data and prices and dates are also in the room. I always ask you to keep in mind that there can of course be inconsistencies from time to time when retailers display placeholder prices because manufacturers may not have given final prices for reasons.

Fnac, Vandenborre and MediaMarkt in Belgium have briefly offered both the Arc Ultra and the Sub 4 for pre-order, for 999 euros, or 899 euros for the Sub 4. The date for availability is October 29th.

What’s in the arc? Tweeter and 6 woofers (118 cm width, 11.05 cm depth, 7.95 cm height). A Quad Core 1.9GHz A-55, 16GB SDRAM, 8GB storage. The RAM specification is certainly worth noting, as I was already speculating about an interface in the style of a TV streaming device.
