NRW: After the traffic jam, the start of the holidays

Dusseldorf – At the start of this year’s autumn holidays, there is a lot of activity on the streets and at the airports North Rhine-Westphalia no overfilling.

According to the ADAC, there were no longer traffic jams on the motorways among drivers.

However, things looked completely different yesterday, Friday. Around 361 kilometers of traffic jams are said to have formed in North Rhine-Westphalia within a very short period of time.

The situation at the airports in Düsseldorf and Cologne/Bonn looks just as relaxed as on the streets this Saturday.

According to the airport, travelers in Düsseldorf only had to wait a few minutes at security. There were the usual queues at the airline check-in counters.
